We publish teen authors and celebrate the contributions of young people to literature. Here at Novelly Publishing, every week is Youth Authors Week
How do I get published?
Our youth authors are teenagers who:
Publish an e-book in Novelly Publishing’s library
Use their gifts in writing to celebrate diverse lived experiences
Believe that we can create a more inclusive world through the stories we share
We treat you like a professional author. Our youth authors program is not just a creative writing program. Here, teenagers access the support they need to not only bring their creative vision to life but also share their work more widely.
Learn more by checking out our Frequently Asked Questions or reading some of their work. Our submission period is from January 1 to May 1 each year.
How do I participate in Youth Authors Week?
You can participate by reading at least one piece of youth writing during Youth Authors Week! The easiest way to get recommendations for what to read is to:
Follow us on Instagram and TikTok
Subscribe to this Substack publication
If you are an 8th-12th grader and you’re interested in diversifying the literature in your classroom and community to include youth authors, you can complete a service project using our toolkit.
How else can I support your work?
Novelly Publishing & Youth Authors Week is what we wish existed when we were teenagers and we’re always so grateful to encounter people who support our mission! You can donate to support the publication and amplification of youth authors.
Novelly Publishing is a fiscally sponsored project of Independent Arts & Media, a 501c3 organization (EIN: 94-3355076), and contributions are tax-deductible.
