Novelly is a non-profit on a mission to get student voices published and taught in the English classroom. Novelly offers two free programs for teen writers and activists: the Rising Voices Collective and the SPEAK! Activist Network. Applications for both programs are due January 31, 2023.
The Rising Voices Collective supports students (ages 15-19) in publishing a short fiction e-book and co-designing curriculum around their work.
RVC is not just a creative writing program. Here, teenagers access a support team to publish an e-book and get it taught in English classrooms.
The SPEAK! Activist Network supports youth activists (ages 13-18) in advocating against book bans and for the freedom to read in schools.
With book bans and challenges on the rise, students across the country are exercising their right to read. As part of the SPEAK! Activist Network, students immerse themselves in the freedom to read movement and diversify bookshelves in their classrooms and communities.
Diverse Youth Voices. Amplified.
Novelly is on a mission to get e-books by underrepresented youth published and taught in the English classroom, so that every student can feel seen and inspired by what they read in school.
